About Me
Welcome! I am Sammy Cooper Guthartz, a passionate actor devoted to the art of performance, both on screen and on stage. Recently, I have graduated from the University of Michigan with a BFA in acting and performance.
My journey in acting began at a young age, with local performances in Westport, CT, and continued through the highly competitive environment of Staples High School.
Choosing Michigan for my BFA was an easy decision as it offered a comprehensive curriculum covering all aspects of my interests. Over four years, I trained in stage and screen, comedy, and playwriting.
When not performing, I have a passion for travel, sports, trying new foods, and spending quality time with friends and family.
As I embark on the journey of being an actor, I am excited for the learning processes, diverse experiences, and the variety of art forms I will encounter. Although my studies at the University of Michigan have set a solid foundation for my acting career, I am eager to learn from experienced professionals in the field.
